In partnership with Southern Utah University, Southern Utah Driving School offers a home study driver education program. This is an "open enrollment" course which means you may enroll at anytime.
| This course can be done in the comfort of your own home and takes a minimum of 30 hours to complete. The course also includes six hours of behind-the-wheel training, and six hours of observing the training of other student drivers. The in-car driving and observation may take place while the student is completing the workbook.
To complete the course, students must read, finish, and return the workbook and pass a final exam consisting of 50 questions with a score of 80% or better. The student is given three opportunities to pass the exam at no additional cost. Students have one year to complete the course. They may work at their own pace and may actually finish the written portion in as little as 30 hours. This course is perfect for the person "on the go" and for those that have other obligations during traditional classroom hours. Upon completion of the workbook, final exam, and all in-car instruction, the student will receive a certificate of completion from the state of Utah.
